We are absolutely in love with her!

Due Date!

Tomorrow (December 20th) is officially our little girl's Due Date!

We will see if she decides to arrive or wants to spend a little more time staying warm and cozy.

First of all, here is a great comparison between me at 10 weeks and 40 weeks! Its a little shocking to see these two side by side, but it simply reminds me what an amazing miracle pregnancy is!

Here are a few pictures of our nursery and some last (hopefully) belly shots.

Thanks for your continued thoughts and prayers as we move closer and closer to meeting our baby girl!

The MOST wonderful time of the year!

This Christmas season is especially wonderful for us!!!

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little girl, while trying to be patient and allow her to come when she is ready. Her due date is LESS than 1 week away (December 20th)!!!

Not working has given my plenty of time to make Christmas treats and relax, so I am trying to enjoy that.

Joey's last day of work is tomorrow and we are SO thankful that he has a job which allows him to take over a month off to enjoy time with our new little family!
He is being wonderful and helping prepare our house for the newest family member.

And taking care of his very pregnant wife by rubbing my feet every night! I knew that he was an amazing man when I married him :).

And...here is a belly shot from last week in front of our cute little Christmas tree!

Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving in Pasadena this year with the Baker side of the family.

We decided to have our German thanksgiving meal on Thursday night...

Cheese buttons, bratwurst, and sauerkraut. It was wonderful.

The final product. SO GOOD!

On Friday we spent the day together creating our wonderful feast.

Cooper spent his day being cute.

Such a good Turkey!

Our table of goodness.

This is how my Mom enjoyed her Thanksgiving dinner :)

This is the face that I got when I asked for a smile...

The final product:

And for our after dinner entertainment...

And for a final picture of the sweetness of my nephews.

This was (hopefully) our last holiday without our sweet little girl. Come on baby!!!!!

It's official!

I am a free woman!!!

Last Friday was my last day of work until after my maternity leave!

For now my days will be filled with sleeping, eating, watching tv, organizing the baby room, and playing with this sweet little boy!

We have intense conversations...

He thinks I'm pretty funny.

I am running out of room on my lap for this little one. Can't wait to his little cousin is here to play with him!

Having maternity leave at the same time as my sister is pretty great. We decided we enjoy hanging out all day and still getting paid for it :).

And....ONLY 4 MORE WEEKS...
until my due date! YAY!!!!

Thankful

During this season of Thanks, we have a TON to be thankful for in the Olsen house. All of the love and support that have been shown to our little family while we prepare for our baby girl's arrival has given us so many things (and people) to be thankful for.

Baby girl Olsen has already been so spoiled!

Mari and Shannon threw me a wonderful shower this weekend. Had such a great time celebrating with our friends and family in Pasadena.

To start off the weekend of fun, Courtney drove down from San Luis Obispo to join in the festivities.
I was so happy to have her crafty help to put up the tree in our little one's room.

Here we are with the final product!

The shower on Saturday was wonderful. Super cute, relaxing, and full of people I love.

Its hard to take pictures of your own shower...here are the few that were captured with my camera. Sad I didn't get a group shot this time around!

Playing the (super hard) game.

Thanks sister!

This lovely lady did such an amazing job putting everything together for the shower.
THANK YOU MARI!!!!

Another thing to be thankful for in this season of my life: my beloved college roommates.

Not too much as changed over the years... :)

Its probably a good thing I didn't have a digital camera before our junior year of college....

Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive already during this time in our lives.

Seriously?!?!?

I think that Halloween was the scariest it has ever been for Joey (and myself) this year.

We attended our first childbirth class last night. It seemed like such a fun class at the beginning and we often ended up laughing so hard that we were unable to perform the breathing exercises along with the rest of our class. Little did we know that the giggling and fun was about to end...

We watched a few birth videos to finish off our first class session.

OH MY GOSH!!!!!

I am pretty sure that Joey was making this face the entire time...

And I was feeling like this...

Now, I know that we have all seen the miracle of life videos in high school health classes, but it was nothing compared to this! And...now I am less than 2 months away from actually doing this!

Like our birth class instructor reminded us at the end of class...
"Putting a baby in is the fun part, getting him or her out is not going to be nearly as fun."
