More Cooper

In between going to a wedding, running errands, and trying to relax, we have been spending our weekend making plenty of time to go see Cooper and his parents in the hospital. They are hoping to come home tomorrow!

Here are some more pictures of the sweet little one and his fam.

Meeting his Uncle for the first time.

Family picture time!

Cooper rests perfectly on his little cousin. She kicked him a few times today while I was holding him :)

It started hitting me today that I am next!!! Ever since I got pregnant, we knew that Shannon would be having her baby first, so it always felt a little far a way for me. But now that we are LESS THAN 3 months away from our due date, its becoming more of a reality!
Cant wait!

He is here!

Our new nephew, Cooper William Lewis, was born today!

He is an adorable "little" boy. Weighed in at 8lbs 14 oz, and 21 inches long.

Myles was VERY excited for us to come see "his baby cooper" and asked us "Do you want to pet him? He is really nice!"

Cooper even got Myles a big brother present...his very own ukulele. He serenaded his new baby brother with the ABC's.

I LOVE him!

So happy to have this sweet addition to the family!

Birthday Boy!

Although we most celebrated this last weekend, we thankfully had the chance to go out tonight to celebrate Joey's actual birthday!

A very happy boy with his mexican food and margarita.

I am SO thankful that we got to celebrate this wonderfully amazing man and that I get to call him my husband!

And, here is a picture taken on Labor day of the two of us with our wonderful cousin Heidi.

Grace's birthday

This last weekend we got to spend a day with the Higerd crew in Dana Point to celebrate Grace's first birthday.
Look at this sweet face!

My husband is absolutely wonderful and spent a lot of the party being pulled around by the little girls and playing ping pong or checking out stuffed animals.

Grace wasnt sure about her cupcake

I love this one.

The weekend made us thankful once again that the Higerd family has moved back to our side of the country so we can spend time with them.

The rest of our time in Dublin

Max and I became even better friends on the way home from his visit to the vet.

He needed a resting place for his tongue and thought my leg would be perfect!

The rest of the weekend was spent hanging out with the family (we are awful at remembering to take pictures) and seeing friends.

We got to stop by and see Maddie's new classroom on the day before her kids came for the first day of school!

Those kids of hers are pretty lucky.

And, it was back to school for me this week as well! We started work last Monday and our kids started on Wednesday. Other than being completely exhausted after a day of teaching and gradually watching my feet/ankles swell throughout the day, it seems to be going well so far!

Thankful for our 3 day weekend and the relaxing and sleeping in that was much needed.
