Holidazed

Christmas and New Years has come and gone again. It seems to come faster and faster each year. This year leading up to Christmas we were still in 80 degree weather down in LA, so it didnt seem much like winter. We had a few different celebrations this year, with each of our families.
The Bloksen (Baker/Lewis/Olsen) crew celebrated Christmas a few weeks early. Mom and Dad came down to Pasadena and we spent time together, made christmas goodies, and opened our family gifts. I didnt take any pictures of this, but I stole a few from my sister.
Myles helped out by holding all of our bows for us while we were opening our gifts.

Frosting cookies with "Rammie".

We spent actual Christmas with the Olsens in Dublin. It was a great, quiet Christmas day, and it was nice to be with the family and be able to spend the day with Grandma Olsen. Because the Olsens are currently in an apartment, Joey and I stayed with our wonderful friends Adam and Melanie Monkowski. We had a great time catching up with them in between family times.
We really need to get better at taking pictures. Although we had our camera with us the entire time, we did not take a single pictures while we were up North.
Before we returned home, we had the chance to meet up with the Mellis and went wine tasting with a fun group. Luckily someone took a picture!

Onto New Years...
My parents and the Dunlops were both down in Pasadena for the New Years celebrations, so we had lots of family and friends to spend time with. We didn't make it to midnight on New Years Eve, but did manage to walk down (about a block away) to check out the madness on Colorado Blvd before climbing into our nice warm beds around 10:30 or 11. Thankfully, we have a wonderful brother in law who spent the night out on the street saving us front row seats for the Rose Parade!
We arrived around 6:30 or so in the morning and it was worth it! The floats were beautiful.

We had a great time, and then headed home for naps for all of us (except Joey and Josh who chose to play video games instead:)!
