We spent last weekend in Santa Barbara to celebrate Josh's 30th birthday (And Audrey's birthday too!)

We sent the boys out on an adventure on Saturday...all dressed in blue (mostly on accident)!

Ruby and Kayleigh enjoyed another weekend playing together.

4th of July and San Clemente

The Dunlop family came down on the 4th of July and we started our family vacation for this summer (our annual Lake Tahoe trip was impossible this summer with a move coming for us and Audrey being 8 months pregnant!)

We spent the 4th of July with the Higerds and had a great BBQ while the girls played. (Thanks for having us over Mari and Gabe!)

On the 5th, we headed down to San Clemente for our vacation weekend.

As we were walking on the pier, we saw a fisher catch a sting ray! Crazy! 

And we ended our weekend with a trip to Doughboys. Yum.

A weekend in the bay

A few weeks ago we spent a long weekend in the bay area for Peter and Maddie's wedding, Grandma Ainsworth's birthday party, and some family time!

6 months!!!!

Our little one turned 6 months over a week ago (sorry for the delay...life has been busy)!!

Here are her sweet 6 month pictures. I can already tell its getting harder to take these pictures, and I am sure that once she is really on the move getting her to sit still for a few minutes will be almost impossible for her!!! :)

Looking back at her 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th months... it's going to be amazing to see how she will change in the future! 

Official 6 month stats:

Weight: 18 lbs 4 oz (90th percentile)

Height: 27 1/2 inches (95th percentile)

At 6 months Kayleigh...

-Has tried rice cereal, oatmeal cereal, sweet potatoes, apples, squash, and avocado. She only chooses to eat when Mom is no where in sight. 

-Sleeps in her crib on most nights, but continues to prefer cuddles. 

-Has successfully conquered her first cold (after many sleepless nights and lots of sweet cuddles with Mom and Dad).

-Is rolling all over the place.

-Can scoot backwards and "army crawl" forwards if there is something she wants enough.

-Loves sitting up and playing with toys. 

-Has a tooth! A very sharp jagged little thing. It hurts! 

-Loves spending time with her cousins.

-Has traveled as far as Portland.

-Has the sweetest belly laugh. 

-Loves looking at herself in the mirror.

-Is VERY chatty. Especially at night when its time for bed! 

-Loves Max (Joey's family English Springer Spaniel), she giggles every time he licks her face :)

-Still loves bath time and swimming.

-Likes playing peekaboo, especially with Dad.

-Likes signing songs. 

-Continues to amaze us with how wonderful she is and how much we love her!
