Rocklin-Round 2

Here is a glimpse into the rest of our time in Rocklin!

This little one got lots of cuddles on this trip! 

On our way over to Dublin we got to stop in Lodi to hang out with the sweet Shamblin Family. It was so good to see these guys! 

We just got back from our trip tonight. We are all wiped out, but had a lot of fun!

I am returning to work tomorrow for the first time. A little nervous about my first day back since before Thanksgiving! Looking forward to seeing my kiddos, but SO sad about leaving this kiddo...

Looking forward to those cuddles each day when my work day is over! 

Rocklin- Round 1

We have LOVED our time in Rocklin! 

Here are some of the happenings from the first part of our time here! 

Kayleigh wasn't too sure about her time in the car on the way up. We took lots of breaks! 

Got to visit Kelli and Matt and see the awesome house that she bought in Sacramento.

Spent lots of time playing with her Grandma. K especially enjoyed playing Patty Cake with her feet. 

Ready for her first time in the hot tub. She loved it! 

Got to meet lots of people on Saturday, including Papa. 

Papa and 3 of his girls. 

Kayleigh wanted to make sure that she was involved in the dinner decision.

3 months!!!

I cant believe our little one is already at the 3 month mark!!!

Kayleigh's official 3 month stats:

Weight: 14 lbs 5oz (Above the 95th percentile)

Height: 25 and 3/4 inches (Above the 95th percentile)

At 3 months Kayleigh...

-Still sleeps between 9 and 11 hours without waking up each night! 

-Giggles often at her Mom and Dad or herself in the mirror.
-Has the cutest pouty face and can get whatever she wants!
-Holds her head up on her own.
-Grabs things and loves playing in her gym!
-Gets anything she can get her hands on into her mouth.
-Likes sitting up on the couch like a big girl.
-Is very interested in books.
-Still gets hiccups every single day.
-Absolutely LOVES bath time!
-Loves to cuddle.
-Has a lot of fun with her bumble bee toy and Sofie the giraffe.
-Gives out smiles often!

We love this little girl SO much and thank God every day that he has given us the sweetest gift in the world!

Excited to leave tomorrow for our trip up north to visit our families and introduce Kayleigh to a lot of people who have only been able to love her from a distance so far!  

Already?

I'm going to miss this SO much when I go back to work right after Easter! 

Why does that day seem to be approaching so quickly?!?! I can't believe it's already almost here!

These have been the best three months of my life so far (yes, even with the infections and all that came along with them).

Being a Mom to this sweet girl, watching Joey mold into an amazing Dad, and the joy that we share learning and growing together has been so special!

She continues to amaze me.

Giggles

Kayleigh has been giggling and smiling so much more lately!

Kayleigh had a fun first St. Patrick's Day! 

Courtney and Sylas came to visit for the weekend and we spent the day with Mari and Gabe!

Our families were finally both healthy at the same time, so we jumped at the chance to finally spend some time together!

I think they all got a little tired of the flashes and their parents trying to get them to smile and look in the same direction. 

And...thanks to FaceTime, our parents get to see Kayeigh more often! 

Sometimes my Mom "baby-sits" Kayleigh for me while I work on dinner or move the laundry along (don't worry, I am never more than 10 feet away!!).
